One of South West London’s leading specialist interior designers are looking for a sales person with strong industry experience to join as a Technical Sales Consultant.
Salary: £25,000 basic, £30,000 OTE
The Role
- Develop business with current clients and identify/capitalize on new market opportunities to increase the market share of the business
- Identify, nurture, build key customer contacts and convert into profitable business
- Negotiate and close deals, managing the requirements of the client, from the initial contact to installation
- Develop innovative ways of marketing the product and instigate continual improvement initiatives to the business using new technology and drawing system
- Provide a backup to the Materials Manager during vacation periods and support him as required in the management of fitter teams and materials
- Follow latest health and safety requirements (both legal and company) and be a role model for others
- Follow the rules and regulations of the company as defined in the staff handbook
- Provide other services as directed to fulfill the requirements of the position and company
Required Skills/Experience
- Design/technical background
- In depth knowledge of IT systems i.e. CAD, MS Office proficiency
