A fast-growing and well-renowned events company based in Richmond are currently looking for a Project Administrator to assist them with various projects.

Salary: £9/hour, £18,000 (temp to perm)

Role profile

The successful applicant will balance both customer­-facing and production tasks, and will be able to see their work making a direct impact on the success of the business. You will take briefs for client projects from the Account Director and colleagues as well as directly from customers. You will need to outline and record the requirements of the job, and then take the job into production and dispatch. The ideal candidate will be a motivated quick learner who is:

Responsibilities

  • Liaise with client, handle enquiries, suggest solutions
  • Produce quotes
  • Receive, edit and set up artwork for digital print production
  • Produce print proofs
  • Manage printing of badges for events, including badge assembly and packaging
  • Be responsible for quality control and delivery schedule
  • Liaise with print suppliers
  • Follow up enquiries and quotes provided to customers
  • Provide occasional onsite support at events
  • Issue invoices and take payment

Requirements of candidate

  • Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks efficiently
  • Hands ­on experience or aptitude to learn design applications such as Adobe InDesign
  • Basic data handling ability, e.g. experience of using Excel
  • Excellent attention to detail and record of maintaining high quality standards
  • Positive approach to work, mature and independent character
  • First class written and communication skills
  • High level of initiative

Preferable but not essential

  • Experience in a print production role or a role where design software is widely used
  • Intermediate Excel and/or Access experience
  • UK driving licence
