This is an exciting, hands-on role for an experienced and talented senior marketing executive to join the busy marketing department at this ambitious software business.

Salary: £28,000 – £32,000

The Role

The purpose of the role is to raise awareness of company products and services and generate good quality sales opportunities to support the achievement of company sales targets. This will be achieved through planning and implementing marketing activity across the full marketing mix.
The new Senior Marketing Executive will use a wide range of digital and traditional marketing techniques to help the business progress. It is the perfect role for a savvy marketer with exceptional digital and copywriting skills.

Main Duties

  • Plan, develop and execute marketing activity in line with the marketing plans Manage and maintain website content and development
  • Optimise online presence and brand awareness through website, SEO, PPC, link building and social media
  • Execute content plans and produce blogs, videos, whitepapers and infographics Implement social media strategy by product
  • Plan, execute and report on marketing automation programmes/campaigns
  • Produce marketing materials including copywriting, proofreading and liaising with designers and printers
  • Organise and attend events including seminars, conferences and exhibitions
  • Maintain company CRM system and responsibility for product related data in conjunction with the sales function
  • Contribute to product positioning and proposition development for promotion

Requirements

  • Passionate about marketing (essential)
  • Minimum of three years marketing experience (desirable) Degree or CIM marketing (essential)
  • b2b marketing background (essential)
  • IT, software and or web based product experience (highly desirable) Healthcare and/or membership sector experience (desirable)
  • Excellent working knowledge of Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) (Google Analytics desirable)
  • Good working knowledge of key social media platforms (Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook and YouTube) (essential)
  • Good working knowledge of PPC advertising (Google Adwords and LinkedIn desirable) Experience of using CRM, CMS and marketing
  • Automation systems (highly desirable) Proficient use of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Power Point (essential)
  • Adobe Creative Suite abilities (highly desirable) Video production experience (desirable)
  • Strong copywriting skills with the ability to engage different audiences across different mediums (essential)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (essential) Fluent in both verbal and written English (essential)
  • Strong teamwork skills (essential)
  • Ability to prioritise and manage own time (essential)
