Overview
Our client requires a proactive, experienced software/IT sector Business Development Manager/Account Manager to join their team and establish them as a recognised market leader in their sector.
Salary: £45,000 – £55,000 DOE + bonus
Role
- Develop revenues and relationships with enterprise Customers and Partners (within the sector)
- New Business Sales – both direct and with Partners
- Develop revenue and relationships within existing partners, and secure new partnerships
What we’re looking for
- 5 yrs+ individual targeted sales experience in consultative/business results-led selling, with solid record of individual sales achievement of £50k+ deals
- Strong multi-level selling skills at operational management to CxO level
- Positive attitude, energy and with a strong work ethic
- Creative, confident and clear communicator (particularly face-to-face and over the phone)
- Strong and wide technical understanding and interest
- Self-managed, capable of working independently (and without an extensive supporting team!)
- Solution Problem solver – able to act independently and work with clients to validate and craft solutions approaches
- Must have strong Word and Excel skills, excellent written and spoken English
- Must have clean driving licence and car

- Technical background – SaaS, Industrial IoT, Auto-ID – Barcode/RFID/RTLS/GS1/Bluetooth
- Sector background – Manufacturing, Supply Chain/Logistics, Retail, NHS (Hospitals/Medical Equipment), Telecoms/Mobile, Utilities
