A hugely successful sponsorship and events company based in Wimbledon are looking for an experienced Account Manager to maximise revenue opportunities for the business.

Salary: £28,000 – £30,000 basic, £50,000 OTE

The Role

  • Generate commercial revenue in accordance with budgets/targets
  • Work with the MD to identify and develop new opportunities for commercial exploitation
  • Manage negotiations and secure contractual agreements, including the delivery and drafting of contracts, account management and review processes
  • Coordinate and communicate with the MD ensure that each element of the agreement is being met and all avenues of opportunity are being maximised
  • Regularly review and update the commercial sponsorship elements of the company website
  • Work with the team to ensure an integrated approach to sponsorship and speaker programmes across the company
  • Provide support for events, including the timely processing of delegate bookings and responses, researching venues, and attending company events as necessary
  • Ensure bookings are processed in a timely fashion and to liaise with delegates and/or external  speakers as appropriate
  • Providing accurate reporting on metric and KPIs for speaker events

Required Skills/Experience

  • Able to demonstrate experience in Business Development/Account Management/Sponsorship
  • Strong experience and understanding of the consultative sales approach
  • Good experience of project management
  • Knowledge of the B2B market
  • Understanding of promotional and marketing campaigns
  • Experience of managing budgets and expenditure
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office packages
  • Excellent communication, persuasion, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Excellent rapport building skills
