Overview
SALARY: £30,000 plus performance related bonus
The Role:
- To manage an initial portfolio of 15 clients, developing the relationship and negotiating new sales. Portfolio will be increased with experience
- Calculate selling prices based on purchase costs, freight costs, storage costs and currency rates
- Enter full details of new sales contracts concluded into the Company IT system
- Monitor progress of sales contracts, attending to problems in the supply chain
- Take remedial actions as necessary to ensure the sales contracts are fulfilled as originally agreed with the customers
- To travel as necessary, meeting overseas clients and suppliers
The Person:
- Educated to a minimum of Degree level or equivalent (2:1) and above
- Good communication skills
- Outgoing, energetic, positive, honest, straightforward
- Experience of sourcing, transporting and importing of foodstuffs would be an advantage.
