Salary: up to £22,000
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a full-time accounts & administration assistant to work for a busy construction company at our head office in Chessington, Surrey.
Admin responsibilities include answering incoming calls, typing, dealing with company emails, distributing post, booking events, fleet management, issuing contracts, updating H&S files and equipment management. As the successful candidate develops into the role they will also get involved in document control for our internal management systems and site handover processes.
You will be responsible for processing & paying all invoices/subcontractors for our joinery factory. The successful candidate will also be involved with processing petty cash, expenses, month-end visa reconciliations and direct debit payments.
The role is approx. 50% accounts and 50% admin.
Desirable Qualities of Candidate
If you are a reliable, trustworthy, hard-working, and conscientious person able to work in a busy office environment, our Admin/Accounts vacancy may be a great opportunity for you. The ideal candidate must be based locally and have previous experience in a similar role. You will need to have good communication skills and be able to multi-task. In addition, you will need to have excellent attention to detail, be competent in Microsoft Office Word and Excel and take ownership of your own work. English and Maths A-C passes are also desirable.
Hours & Conditions
The normal working hours are Mon-Fri 9.00am to 5.00pm, 37.5 hours per week. A competitive salary will be paid according to ability and experience. You will be working in a pleasant, friendly office conveniently located to public transport. Parking is available on site. There is also a small on-site gym that you will be able to use. You will be well supported in the role.
