Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 + Benefits

Fantastic opportunity for an experienced Bookkeeper / Accounts Assistant to join this large modern, progressive and successful business in Kingston

  • Processing of daily financial transactions on to Access Dimensions / SAGE
  • Maintenance of prepayment schedules
  • Monthly calculation and processing of depreciation and accruals journals
  • Reconciliation of all bank accounts on a monthly basis
  • Payment of client funds
  • Production of invoices monthly
  • Manage company’s credit control function
  • Maintenance of Sage, ensuring that all invoices and payments are kept up to date at all times
  • Report daily to Operations Director with update on financials
  • Management and reconciliation of petty cash
  • Processing of company VAT returns
  • Arrange payment of creditor invoices
  • Control of petty cash and reconciliation of petty cash schedule
  • Allocation of monthly payroll transactions
  • Liaison with Management Accountants to ensure the timely production of financial information for submission to the Board
  • Financial support to Directors

Your adaptable, helpful and flexible approach to work combined with your well developed decision making skills and ability to stay calm under pressure and meet deadlines will enable you to excel in this role. Previous experience within a similar role is essential as are strong written and verbal communication skills.

It would be highly desirable if you have experience in with Access Dimensions
