An industry-leading company based in central Croydon are looking for an ambitious, target-oriented salesperson with strong B2B experience to join their team.
Salary: £25,000 basic, £35,000 OTE + mobile + healthcare
The Role
It will be a varied role, where the ability to handle sales calls, negotiate with suppliers and customers and provide excellent customer service in delivering solutions. You could be sourcing bespoke products from a range of suppliers through to negotiating a deal with a new customer.
You will need a passion for delivering excellent customer service coupled with a resilience to work independently. It is an exciting time to join an established business which is embarking on its next growth stage, and you will have the opportunity to make a major difference.
Main Responsibilities
- Respond to customer enquiries, and resolve any issues by providing prices, product information, quotes, credit information and samples.
- Through inbound and outbound calls, pro-actively sell products/services
- Maximise customer sales by offering added value options
- Gather and maintain information, identify business opportunities and understand customer needs to generate further sales.
- Source products through the engagement and negotiation of suppliers
Skills and Experience
- Strong PC Skills
- Results orientated with strong commercial awareness and business acumen
- Proven track record in sales
- Proven track record in leading and managing a B2B sales team
- Negotiation and relationship building.
- Evidence of building strong commercial business relationships
- Excellent customer service and selling.
- Ability to prioritise workload and multi-task activities
- Capability to demonstrate a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Knowledge of product / service range, competitors and market place
- A full driving license
