A rapidly-growing company based in Chessington are looking for someone with a strong mix of bookkeeping and administrative skills to join the team.

Salary: £27,000 – £30,000

The Role

  • An experienced bookkeeper to control the day-to-day running of the company’s accounts
  • Management of the sales and purchase ledgers and all monies received and payments made
  • Producing monthly management accounts and nominal sales analysis, bank reconciliations etc.
  • Dealing with queries and credit control via telephone and reminder letters
  • Payroll
  • Maintain the company’s ISO 9001 registration, in conjunction with a consultant
  • Maintain and develop the company’s health and safety and procedures manuals
  • Managing the company’s fleet of vans
  • Helping out with other office-based tasks, as required

Key Skills/Experience

  • Personable, enthusiastic and keen to be an integral part of a busy team in a small company
  • As the sole book-keeper/accountant, this job will require a high level of responsibility
  • Friendly and enthusiastic with a confident telephone manner
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
  • Computer literacy is essential as is some exposure to Sage Line 50
  • Keen to develop themselves and grow with the business over the coming years
  • Good attention to detail
