Overview
Salary: £20,000 – £28,000 plus bonus
Location: Chessington
Objectives
To achieve preset Sales Targets and Key Performance Indicators
Role
- Gain an understanding of the division to which you are assigned in order that you quickly become a specialist in that market
- Making outbound telephone calls (canvassing) to existing Clients utilizing our bespoke Client Relationship Management software; canvassing advertisements for Sales, Technical and Commercial roles; canvassing qualified leads from colleagues; and canvassing targeted new business opportunities in order to:
- Gain commitment from the Client or prospective Client in order to:
- Ensure that the conversations are fully documented, and that the database is up to date
- Report back to Consultants all updates on existing Vacancies
- Ensure the database record is accurate in terms of spelling of company name, contacts, responsibilities, contact details etc
Relationships
- You will work within a team reporting to a Senior Consultant, Managing Consultant or a Director, and be closely supported by the Director of Business Development
- You will, from time to time, take on responsibilities on behalf of your colleagues
- You will attend and report at company/team meetings as required
Administration
- Daily writing of copy for advertisements
- Daily “inbox” management
- Daily completion of Activity Sheet
- Daily entry of Vacancies onto the database
- Ensure that database diary entries are “completed” on a daily basis
