Overview
Are you an experienced Business Development professional who wants a new challenge and to join a growing, dynamic business who can offer career opportunities and progression? The candidate must have at least 3 years experience in proactive sales and ideally have some exposure to the training and/or consulting sales process.
Salary: £30,000 basic, £50,000 OTE
Role Responsibilities
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets
- Build and grow a pipeline of in-company training opportunities
- Initiate proactive business development activity to win new clients
- Protect and grow existing in-company training accounts
- Develop compelling in-company training quotations and proposals
- Collaborate with delivery consultants and other members of the BDM in order to build compelling training propositions
- Conduct successful contract negotiations for in-company training sales
- Use a consultative approach in order to fully understand and respond to client needs and develop trusted working relationships with clients
Skills Required
- Proven track record in achieving sales targets
- A strong negotiator and determined to sell successfully
- Passionate about making a difference and learning the technical product knowledge
- Ability to write and present compelling proposals
- Excellent communicator both written and verbal
- Must be able to work under pressure
- To succeed in this position you must be self motivated, focused, detail orientated, able to multi task and collaborate with clients, team members and internal departments.
