A well-regarded and fast-growing software business based in Surbiton are looking for a junior IT professional to provide first-line technical support to their clients.
Salary: £18,000 – £22,000
The Role
- Providing first-line technical support to clients via email and telephone
- Troubleshooting problems and arriving at a solution
- Developing an in-depth understanding of the software
- Passing on any issues to the technical team as required
- Explaining the software to clients to ensure better understanding going forward
- Passing on client feedback and suggesting any changes/improvements to the technical team where appropriate
Key Skills/Experience
- An aptitude for understanding the workings of software applications
- Software enthusiast – Desire to go beyond their scope of knowledge to explain a feature
- IT proficient, able to troubleshoot software issues, confident to install/uninstall programs
- Proficient in the use of Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
- Clear and professional telephone manner
