Overview

We have an opportunity for a Media Sales Executive to join our client to sell display advertising. As a Media Sales Executive, you will work with your clients to generate new business and achieve agreed sales targets.

Salary: £25,000 – £28,000 basic plus excellent bonus potential

The Role

  • Selling advertisement space via phone and face-to-face visits.
  • Managing existing relationships with your client portfolio
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations to new and existing clients to encourage sales of new advertising as well as protect and increase existing business.
  • Prepare promotional plans, sales literature and media information as required.
  • Liaise closely with editors, publishers and publishing director to ensure maximum sales potential is achieved.
  • Attend relevant external exhibitions and events to develop new business, increase knowledge, meet and manage existing client portfolio as well as network new contacts.
  • Assist in the preparation of the budgets for advertising sales for the publications’ annual business plan.

The Person:

  • You must have media sales experience and be able to hit the ground running.
  • Be highly driven, hard working with excellent work ethic.
  • Professional, presentable, enthusiastic and highly personable.
  • Sales driven and committed to hitting set targets.
  • Able to demonstrate the most up-to-date market knowledge.
