Overview

We are looking for someone with a strong understanding of data and CRM systems to join a successful business as a CRM Executive & Data Analyst.

Salary: £38,000 – £40,000

The Role

  • With the Marketing team, agree data and targeting needs for every Promotion and Campaign, actively deciding selections that best meet campaign and business objectives to improve the customer experience
  • Extract relevant data from Workbooks in an organised way and prepare the data for usage by various third parties excluding extracting the data
  • Suggest data testing for individual campaigns and promotions and generalised data tests to identify upsell and cross sell opportunities
  • Email Service Provider (Dotmailer) data management via the CRM API and managing data fields and processes within Dotmailer itself
  • Maintain control groups including Seed lists
  • Work with third parties on data acquisition projects
  • Support the team with managing the postal broker final data briefs and deliveries
  • Continual updates and customisation to configure the CRM application
  • Assist the Campaign Manager and Marketing Director to improve and enhance the CRM system
  • Alongside the Campaign Manager and Marketing Director create, implement and enhance a contact strategy
  • Help build standard reports/dashboards for reporting across the business, ensuring that complex information is presented clearly and in easy-to-use formats
  • Manage the quality and consistency of data capture across all customer touch points including online forms, Call Centre, events etc
  • Support the Matrix Management Team and CTO in rolling out the CRM system to other teams across the business – start to finish involvement
  • Administration of the CRM system when other teams are using Workbooks to run their business areas
  • Establish processes to ensure the quality of all databases held within the CRM is clean (i.e. the customer data is regularly cleansed and deduped) and that GDPR guidelines are followed
  • Train and support the Marketing team in the overall management of the CRM system, including daily imports and exports, hygiene reports and general maintenance
  • Assist with CRM training company wide as needed
  • Keep up to date with all CRM developments and maintain day to day contact with Workbooks
  • Continuously improve CRM system and CRM best-practise knowledge through reading and self-study
  • Keep up to date on all GDPR Laws and Directives

Key Skills/Experience

  • You will love data – working with databases, data analysis, data segmentation and data management
  • Interested in GDPR and keeping up to date with data advancements
  • Experienced in Workbooks or similar – Fast Stats, Dynamics, Salesforce
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel
  • Knowledge of SQL coding an advantage
  • I have a commercial understanding
  • Ability to work to deadlines
  • Ability to work quickly (but without mistakes)
  • Able to manage many projects at the same time, whilst responding quickly to urgent requests
  • Great attention to detail
  • Reliable and dependable
  • Independent – able to get on with the role with minimal direction at times
