Overview
A large, well-renowned company in the FMCG sector are looking for someone with a strong mix of customer service and administration skills to join the team.
Salary: up to £22,000
The Role
- Receive orders from Customers and fulfill them within specification
- Arrange haulage or other transportation of goods to the customer ensuring that their specific instructions are met
- Collating any deliveries that are met and those that may be problematic
- Liaising and communicating with suppliers such as warehouses and hauliers to effect good working relations
- Responsible for provision of competitive haulage rates for internal use
- Prepare required Customer Service reports for bi monthly Senior Management Meeting
- Liaising with Customers with regard to contract balances and delivery forecasts
- Ordering, monitoring, and declaring products such as plastic pallets from our supplier
- Monitoring pallet returns, collections and charges from haulier
- Arrange warehouse transfers
- Assisting in all order and customer service administration as required
Key Skills/Experience
- 1-2 years’ customer service/administration experience
- Excellent interpersonal skills – comfortable dealing with clients and suppliers
- Clear and professional telephone manner
- Excellent attention to detail with outstanding organisational skills
- Highly computer literate – proficient in Word, Excel and Outlook
