Overview

Our client is a leadership advisory firm who partner closely with public and private corporations, family-owned enterprises, and non profit and government agencies to provide Board advisory services, CEO search and succession, executive search, executive assessment, leadership development, and organisational transformation. They are now looking for a Executive Search Candidate Analyst to join their busy team.

Salary: £30,000
The Role:

The role is, quite simply, a chance to understand how business works. Get insight into a wide variety of the world’s largest companies. Gain deep understanding of the problems and opportunities facing a particular sector. Hear from the mouths of top CEOs the
stories of their careers – all while building a plan for your own. Over two years you’ll cultivate experience with an internationally renowned consultancy and have contact with top business leaders. More than anything, you’ll build particular expertise in
how to interview, assess and attract the right people.

Candidate Analysts are partnered with consultants at the Firm, supporting them in significant stages of a search for example: pitches, reviewing candidate lists, candidate interviews and reports.

A significant proportion of their work is within the leadership advisory space, so you will also have the opportunity to work with your consultants on projects such as management appraisals and team effectiveness reviews.  As the role is tailored to the consultant and the individual, the specifics will vary, but the constant thread will be supporting the consultant with their search and leadership advisory
work, all whilst building relationships with colleagues, candidates and clients across the globe.

The Person:

They take a highly specialised approach to finding, attracting, assessing and developing the world’s top talent. Filling a company’s Management and Board with the right people requires an understanding of industry developments, an appreciation of company culture and a rigorous assessment of an individual’s experience, competencies and potential. Therefore, we’re looking for bright, dynamic and enthusiastic Candidate Analysts with the curiosity to join us in this challenge. Candidates won’t necessarily have experience in a related field, but all will have

  • excellent communication skills – both in person and in writing
  • a stellar academic track record, most likely in a Humanities subject.
  • A-levels and degrees with heavy written components (e.g. English, History Philosophy etc)
given the heavy written element of the role

Right now, potential Candidate Analysts may be undecided about the path of their future career.  Over two years they’ll be able to test their preferences and encounter more ideas, while building an excellent personal platform and professional skills. After finishing the programme they may join one of the many industries in which our client works, prepare for an MBA or further study, move into
other areas of consulting or something else entirely – these two years are a chance for you to grow as an individual and as a professional, and carve your own path.
