Location: Waterloo
Salary: £18,000 – £30,000 OTE
Our well established client are looking for a bright and enthusiastic graduate to join their team near Waterloo.
If you want to kick-start a career in the media industry this is a fantastic opportunity. No experience is needed – just a great attitude.
The role:
- Making appointments for the field sales team
- Following up leads
- Establishing client relationships
The right person for this role will be able to demonstrate that they have the singular mindset required to master the basics of selling and then rise to the challenge of learning and developing beyond the fundamentals. B2C sales experience is not deemed to be relevant for this role.
The right individual will be able to master the minutiae of managing their database (they MUST have the capacity to use administration systems such as CRM to a high standard) and through well thought out and executed activity maximising sales and achieving high margins from these sales. They will need the motivation and energy to maintain high levels of activity in pursuit of not just hitting but getting ahead of target.
This is the right role for a self-aware individual with the capacity for focused hard work and clever thinking to work their way around sales blocks. This is not the role for those that like to kick back and chill. They need to assess how a sale works and then rapidly do something about it.
Strong work ethic is a must, as is the desire to achieve something meaningful, build on it and enjoy the benefits.
About you:
- You are a smasher: with a furious work ethic you want to smash the phones and rake in sales and commission.
- You should be naturally competitive and be the kind of person who always wants to do better.
- You are a good conversationalist and find it easy to persuade others to your point of view.
- You must have clear and understandable spoken English
- You can do basic mental maths, spell and write accurately and can use Microsoft software
- You are motivated to work harder than you ever have before, be successful and earn money
