Our client is an Ofsted ‘Outstanding’ training provider with 30 years’ experience in the work-based learning sector. They work in close partnership with employers, growing provision in line with their organisation’s needs.
Salary: £35,000
They are excited to be expanding theirr Improvement Apprenticeship provision within the public sector and are looking for an experienced Lean, Six Sigma and Quality Improvement skills coach for an exciting full-time position. You will have the opportunity to work with some exciting employers including NHS Providers and make a real difference to the effectiveness of these providers through the development of their staff. This is also an opportunity to share your expertise with eager participants, delivering both workshops and one-to-one coaching.
The Role
This would be a home-based role with delivery in the field. Delivery is currently fully online so you would need to be familiar and confident with using technology and platforms such as Microsoft Teams.
You will need to have knowledge of, or the desire to learn about, how Quality Improvement is delivered within the NHS and the models providers use to implement change. This will include the Model for Improvement.
Successful applicants will be supported through a successful induction supported by a dedicated coach.
The Person
- Lean/Six Sigma Green Belt certification or equivalent (desired)
- Experience delivering green belt six sigma training or leading improvement projects (essential)
- Experience delivering the Improvement Technician and Practitioner Apprenticeships (desired)
- Recognised trainer qualification (essential)
- Experience of delivering improvement training within the NHS/Healthcare Sector (desirable)
- Assessing qualification CAVA, TAQA, A1, D32/33 (desirable)
- Experience of using e-portfolios / e-learning platform (essential)
- Strong English, maths and IT
- High degree of initiative, accuracy, efficiency and attention to detail
- Flexible and willing to travel (however current delivery is remote)
- Good sense of humour and passionate about teaching and learning (essential)!
