To provide an effective and efficient typing, administrative and secretarial service to the Directors and the rest of the team to ensure that clients receive a quality service in all respects

Salary: £14,000

The Role

  • To type all letters, faxes, reports and correspondence in accordance with the firm’s procedures
  • To screen telephone calls for the team, taking messages in a professional manner as required
  • To file, scan and save correspondence and other documents
  • To update in-house database and internal systems as required
  • To list client records and send boxes of records to storage and record in archive book, retrieving boxes from archive as necessary
  • To take minutes of meetings as required
  • To assist the Directors’ Executive Assistant as required
  • To help arrange meetings, courses, travel and accommodation and lunches, as required for the Directors and other staff as required
  • To prepare presentations using Power Point
  • To assist in arranging marketing events
  • To undertake any other clerical duties as required
  • “On the job” training will be provided as required.

The Person

  • Efficient and professional manner
  • Educated to at least GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths and English grade C or above
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint
  • Genuine interest in problem solving and helping people
  • Confident in prioritising workloads
  • Ability to learn quickly
  • Excellent communication skills
  • “Can do” attitude
  • Excellent organisational skills
