Location: Kingston Upon Thames
Salary: up to £20,000 basic + 30% commission
How would you like to work for a market-leading events company, dealing directly with the BBC and other high-profile clients?
Your main purpose would be to sell exhibition stand space within the company’s show portfolio, which currently consists of 8 BBC Good Food Shows and also BBC Gardeners’ World Live, with a show heritage of over 24 years. You would be a key member of an established sales team who work together to bring over 1000 exhibitors to our shows.
This role would suit a confident and enthusiastic team player with around a year of sales experience who is looking to work on well-established and successful shows within the exciting food and gardening industry (it isn’t essential that you have knowledge in the food or gardening industry, but beneficial if you do).
- You will join a predominately telephone based sales team where exhibition stand space is sold to existing & previous exhibitors and by generating leads through targeting new prospects within the industry.
- There will at times be the opportunity to meet with clients and sell face to face, both at competitor exhibitions and specifically arranged meetings.
- As part of the sales process you will attend our events and manage clients’ participation whilst selling other events in the portfolio and re-booking for the following year.
