Role for the Membership Advisor

  • Recruit new members in order to achieve new membership sales
  • Communicate with prospective members by telephone, e-mail or face to face as necessary
  • Arrange and conduct show rounds of the facilities to prospective new members
  • Generate leads and enquiries through various methods of outreach
  • Build partnerships with local Corporate companies to drive a high volume of leads into the club
  • Develop relationships within the local residential community establishing as the market leader in the area
  • Provide correct information to prospective members regarding the Club/Hotel facilities, programming, policies and prices in an efficient and professional manner
  • Support the membership team and be fully conversant in the membership database
  • Ensure the membership database is up to date at all times including adding new members as necessary

Experience and attributes required for the Sales & Membership Administrator:

  • Previous experience within a sales environment essential
  • An ambitious, target driven attitude
  • A passion for sport, health and fitness
  • Attention to detail essential
  • A good head for figures essential
  • Excellent IT skills essential
  • Experience with a membership database and mail merge desirable
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with team members
  • Great organisational skills and the ability to multi-task
  • Must be a good communicator
  • Enthusiasm, positivity, good sense of humour, collaborative spirit
