Salary: £21,000 to 23000
Our client is a young and dynamic publishing and events company that has been successfully operating for nearly 20 years in the global trade and trade finance sector who are now looking for a Marketing Assistant to join their busy team.
The Role
- Reporting to and assisting the Head of Marketing create, execute, and drive marketing campaigns across all products and services (events, publications, news, awards, directory)
- Assist in monitoring active campaigns and projects. Research and developing ways to improve campaigns and collaboration with affiliates.
- Building relationships and strategic partnerships with local and international trade and finance associations, media/press, and associated third party events
- Provide ongoing marketing support on all digital and print collateral, including website/app, email/newsletter campaigns, social media campaigns, print/digital advertisements, podcast/videos, and event content
- Analysing and reporting on social media and website analytics
- Reporting on benchmarking, competitor analysis, the user behaviours and demographics
- Updating and maintaining the marketing department’s documentation and database
- Bringing creative event marketing ideas to light
The Person
- Relevant degree (such as media studies/marketing/business studies etc.) and/or previous experience in an marketing field
- Eager to assist with ad hoc work
- Highly organised with an ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Adaptable under pressure with quick deadlines
- Focussed and creative problem-solver
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and grammar
Additional Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Experience with CMS (WordPress)
- Experience with Adobe PremierPro or a similar audio and video editing programme
- Experience with InDesign or similar programmes
- Experience with CRM software
- Experience with Google Analytics
