Overview
A rapidly-growing niche marketing agency based in Dalston are looking for someone with a strong understanding of both B2B and B2C marketing to join the team as a Marketing Officer.
Salary: up to £32,000
The Role
The role is split up into B2B and B2C responsibilities.
B2B:
- Work with Head of Marketing to create and implement a B2B digital content plan for the year to ensure active lead generation and high content engagement rates with existing and prospective clients
- Acquisition of customers utilising a full suite of digital techniques (SEO, PPC, social advertising etc)
- Ensure digital activity is effectively optimised for Search.
- Develop content in line with the content strategy – regularly refreshing content such as blogs, video, bespoke research pieces, case studies & images
- Develop, maintain and monitor all social media channels. Grow followers & engagement in alignment with a social media content strategy
- Experience of using an email platform (e.g. MailChimp) to create, send and report on email campaigns to existing and prospective clients
- Experience of managing online PPC campaigns
- Work with the Sales team to fulfil all client digital bookings
B2C:
- Day-to-day running of 3 consumer websites
- Work with Head of Marketing to create and implement a B2C website content plan for the year to ensure traffic growth, high engagement rates & drive revenue
- Manage a team of 3 content creators & freelancers to produce content in alignment with the editorial plan– including copy, photos, videos, blogs etc. Full editorial control
- Manage a part time Marketing Assistant to assist in the delivery of all marketing & comms activities
- Management of SEO, PPC & social advertising tools to increase awareness and drive traffic
- Develop, maintain and monitor all social media channels. Grow followers & engagement in alignment with a social media content strategy and placing tactical advertising
- Experience of using an email platform e.g. MailChimp to create, send and report on email campaigns including newsletters
- Management and fulfillment of weekly consumer competitions
Key Skills/Experience
- Minimum of three years relevant digital marketing experience with proof points of B2B and B2C success & growth
- Success in driving results through SEO, PPC and AdWords
- Good capability within leading social media platforms, syndicating content and/or campaigns
- Experience of online and offline marketing evaluation and using output to produce actionable insight
- IT literate and competent in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Creative, proactive, resourceful and able to get work done quickly and to a high standard
- Organised self-starter who’s able to pick up and work on multiple projects and work to tight deadlines
- Experience of working with a range of stakeholders including external organisations, client & suppliers
