Our client is a successful law practice operating in Central London offering expert advice on residential and commercial property.  They are now looking for an office / legal assistant to join their busy team.  The role is assisting both the Executive Manager and Paralegals as well as being the first point of contact in the office / reception.

Salary: £20,000 to £25,000

The Role:

  • Answer incoming calls and take messages
  • Meeting and greeting clients
  • Assist the Executive Manager with day-to-day tasks including some PA duties
  • Assist the paralegals and other fee earners with various tasks
  • Ordering and maintaining stationery and office supplies
  • Maintain office equipment including printers and liaise with IT
  • Organise and maintain effective filing systems
  • Complete printing and photocopying tasks
  • Archive files and maintain the database
  • Deal with routine office administration
  • Effectively use the case management system
  • Take and collect the post and DX
  • Organise couriers

The Person:

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks
  • Office experience
  • Good attention to detail
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft, including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • Excellent communication and team working skills
  • An excellent command of English, both written and spoken
  • Experience within the legal sector preferred but not required
