A successful recruitment agency in Clapham are looking for an experienced Office Manager with a strong background in finance to join their team.

Salary: circa £30,000

The Role

  • Invoice processing and management
  • Credit Control of outstanding fees
  • Issuing sales invoices
  • General bookkeeping and daily financial coordination
  • Employee contract processing
  • Management of contractor staff payroll duties
  • Supplier management
  • Contractor liaison
  • Filing and documentation
  • Assisting with diary management, booking meetings, travel arrangements etc.
  • Managing the day-to-day operations of a busy office
  • Taking control of all administrative/health and safety procedures
  • Administration for Directors of the business
  • Information gathering – tax, quotes, employee details
  • Experience working in a sales-driven environment
  • An extremely keen eye for detail, particularly relating to figures

Key Skills/Experience

  • Strong background in finance (bookkeeping and accounts experience is essential
  • Good working knowledge of Xero is essential
  • An understanding of Sage would also be advantageous
  • Previous experience managing the day-today running of a busy office
  • Some previous experience working as a PA would be a major advantage
  • Outstanding organisational skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Friendly, approachable working manner with a good sense of humour
