A successful franchise business based in Hampton are looking for someone with a strong background in operations and logistics to join as an Operations & Customer Service Manager.
Salary: £26,000 – £30,000
The Role
- Day to day management of job/project bookings for engineers
- Prepare quotes for existing and potential customers
- Arranging appointments for customers allocating the correct resource for the appropriate timeframe
- Act as the co-ordinator between the engineer and the customer to ensure all requirements are captured and communicated
- Responding to customer queries either over the phone, email or in branch
- Able to prioritise demands and apply a practical and common-sense approach
- End to end process for each job process including booking, collating paperwork, raising invoices and chasing payments
- Ensuring relevant materials are ordered and delivered on time
- Lead on the regular stock taking process to ensure cost efficiency of material use
- Contribute to the effective running of the business by streamlining processes and actively proposing new ways of working
- Develop and maintain excellent business links by ensuring “customer delight” service as well as continuing to strengthen local trader relationships
