A successful franchise business based in Hampton are looking for someone with a strong background in operations and logistics to join as an Operations & Customer Service Manager.

Salary: £26,000 – £30,000

The Role

  • Day to day management of job/project bookings for engineers
  • Prepare quotes for existing and potential customers
  • Arranging appointments for customers allocating the correct resource for the appropriate timeframe
  • Act as the co-ordinator between the engineer and the customer to ensure all requirements are captured and communicated
  • Responding to customer queries either over the phone, email or in branch
  • Able to prioritise demands and apply a practical and common-sense approach
  • End to end process for each job process including booking, collating paperwork, raising invoices and chasing payments
  • Ensuring relevant materials are ordered and delivered on time
  • Lead on the regular stock taking process to ensure cost efficiency of material use
  • Contribute to the effective running of the business by streamlining processes and actively proposing new ways of working
  • Develop and maintain excellent business links by ensuring “customer delight” service as well as continuing to strengthen local trader relationships
