We are looking for an experienced administrator to join a well-renowned project management firm in Godalming on a part-time basis.

Salary: £25,000 pro rata

The Role

  • Answer and direct phone calls
  • Organise and schedule meetings
  • Write and distribute email, correspondence memos, letters and forms
  • Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports
  • Develop and maintain a filing system
  • Update and maintain office policies and procedures
  • Order office supplies and research new deals and suppliers
  • Order site set-ups
  • Produce purchase orders
  • Maintain contact lists
  • Book travel arrangements
  • Provide general support to visitors
  • Act as the point of contact for internal and external clients
  • Liaise with Directors and Office Manager to handle requests and queries
  • Assist the Office Manager with her roles and responsibilities

Key Skills/Experience

  • An ideal candidate will be competent in prioritising and working with little supervision
  • They will be self-motivated and trustworthy
  • Experience in a construction/project management environment would be useful but not essential as full training will be given
  • They will require experience as an office administrator, office assistant or in a similar role
  • Outstanding communication and excellent organisational skills are a must and excellent knowledge of MS Office would be beneficial, especially Excel which is used frequently
  • Candidates will need use of their own vehicle due to the location of the office and lack of public transport in the area.
