Overview

A leading IT recruitment firm based in Richmond are looking for a new consultant to join the team. At least a year’s commercial experience is essential but this does not necessarily have to be within recruitment.

Salary:  £20,000 – £25,000 basic, £40,000 – £50,000 OTE

The Role

  • Register Candidates on to the database
  • Search database/websites/LinkedIn for candidates as directed
  • Immediately match Candidates to vacancies at the point of registration
  • If no interview immediately available, identify, with the candidate’s help and with your Manager’s help, canvass opportunities, where the candidate can offer something of potential use to a relevant prospective employer
  • Approach these companies immediately after the telephone interview has been completed in order to generate interest
  • Thoroughly prepare candidates for interviews, ensuring that they call back immediately after the interview has finished
  • Ensure feedback is recorded on the database
  • Gain an understanding of the division to which you are assigned in order that you quickly become a specialist in that market

  • Good persuasion, negotiation and communication skills
  • Organised, able to manage yourself administratively
  • Understands and works to company procedures
  • At least a year’s commercial experience
  • Recruitment or telesales background preferred
