Salary: £24,000 + bonus

The Company:

Launched in October 2013, Protein World is the fastest growing online nutritional supplements brand with a global customer base of 800,000 and counting.

Protein World was exclusively online until January year, when they launched into over 600 Superdrug stores, followed by Argos in July.

They are already leading the nutrition categories in both retailers, and are currently in the planning stages for their launch into other major retailers in the UK, USA and Australia.

The Role:

The Retail Account Manager will be responsible for oversight of these accounts, liaising with buyers and their teams to ensure that Protein World continues to grow and outperform its competitors.

They will also be responsible for the acquisition of new international retail accounts, forming relationships with key members of purchasing teams and setting up new accounts with a drive on generating repeat sales.

This will involve planning promotional activities to support the launch and awareness of Protein World in stores, overseeing incoming orders, and attending relevant meetings, supplier conferences and promotional days to ensure Protein World is best positioned in the market.

The Ideal Candidate:

The Retail Account Manager must have a proven track record in sales or business development is a must. Previous experience of selling into retail would be a major advantage.

You must be educated to A Levels at a minimum and ideally to degree level.
