Overview

A successful and rapidly-growing e-commerce business based in Dalston are looking for someone with a strong sales background to join as a Sales Manager.

Salary: £30,000 – £35,000

The Role

  • Your responsibilities as the sales manager include overseeing the sales and customer service functions, processes and associated staff to ensure the optimum delivery of customer service
  • You will be responsible for strategic purchasing, cost reduction and supply chain management
  • You will be expected to oversee and work with the marketing team to ensure robust communication between all departments and the smooth integration of marketing campaigns and promotions with the most cost effective and appropriate purchasing decisions
  • Manage and grow sales turnover and increase/maintain gross profit margins, reporting back to the Directors on a regular basis
  • You will work closely with the Marketing Director to formulate sales, marketing and purchasing  strategies with demonstratable systematic plans of action to achieve the top level goals
  • Maintaining the brand perception

Key Skills/Experience

  • Skilled in using Excel and other reporting tools to effectively analyse data
  • Excellent communicator, both written and verbal, with strong attention to detail
  • Numerate, with a high level of commercial acumen
  • Exceptionally well organized with an ability to competently multi-task
  • Calm, professional and positive manner
  • A team-player, who is comfortable to take responsibility and work with a high level of autonomy
  • Is driven to succeed, with a passion to help our business grow and is eager to learn
  • Be able to work to tight deadlines and prioritise workload with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • A basic understanding of art materials
  • A flexible and adaptable approach to work
