Overview
Salary: £20,000 + commission
A leading IT recruitment company are looking for a Senior Consultant to join their team.
Responsibilities include:
- Canvassing new candidates
- Generating new leads
- Head hunting
- Interviewing candidates and preparing for pre/post interviews.
- Managing the overall relationship with the candidate from the initial engagement through contract negotiations and into a long-term association, which includes: Working closely with other departments, to include relocation, resourcing, accounting, and immigration staff working in the account.
Person specifications:
- Minimum 3 years experience in the Recruitment market (IT would be an advantage)
- Experience resourcing consulting services
- Effective selling skills, communication and interpersonal skills
- Internet knowledge
- Track record of consistent over-achievement, regularly exceeding assigned quotas
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated career stability
- Warm or cold calling
- Interviewing and qualifying applicants
- Knowledge/experience with IT Industry (Hardware, Software and Internet profiles)
- Creating good rapport with contacts
- Previous hiring experience a plus
- Superior telephone etiquette
- High degree of independency, yet work and direct of co-workers during sales cycle
