Overview

One of the UK’s largest publishers are looking for a strong salesperson with at least two years of B2B experience to join as a Senior Sales Executive.

Salary: up to £30,000 basic, £45,000 OTE

Duties

  • Selling across online and display advertising, directories and lead generation solutions.
  • Identifying and building relationships with new and existing clients
  • Managing some key accounts and increasing spend wherever possible
  • The role consists mainly of new business development with some account management elements
  • Meeting clients and keeping in regular contact to maintain strong relationships
  • Proactively identifying new business opportunities and converting these to qualified leads

The successful candidate is:

  • A self starter with lots of initiative
  • Able to grasp the basic structure of the wind power and environmental business sectors and a detailed understanding of the portfolio of products offered
  • Comfortable with making a high number of calls
  • Organised with excellent time management skills
  • Able sell on several projects at the same time
  • Able to converse articulately at all levels
  • Is target driven and highly motivated
  • A positive ‘can-do’ attitude
