One of Surrey’s leading digital agencies are looking for someone with strong social media management experience to join their team in Guildford.

Salary: £30,000 – £33,000

The Role

  • Push creativity across all social content from global to SME brands
  • Monitor social channels and respond to posts on behalf of clients
  • Identify and push new and exciting social content formats and opportunities – both planned and proactively
  • Monitoring and reporting on engagement, traffic and referral links as a result of content and social activity
  • Engage with social media influencers to build relationships with fans of the brand
  • Formulating paid social media campaign strategies, researching personas and targeting options, analysing competitors, and testing
  • Creating ad copy, implementing campaigns and optimising weekly to ensure all campaigns are run proficiently
  • Producing client facing reports, studies and presentations to client brand standards
  • Contributing to continuous improvement by proactively assessing the company’s practices and methodology.
  • Maintaining an in depth understanding of the digital marketplace, with particular emphasis on all new and emerging initiatives and technologies
  • Developing and documenting best practice process and methodologies for digital marketing initiatives
  • Conducting digital marketing audits and/or benchmarks
  • Keeping up-to-date with all aspects of digital marketing as you develop
  • Running internal and external Masterclasses on your specialism

Key Skills/Experience

  • Min. 2 years of social media management, including paid social media and re-marketing
  • Implementing social tracking
  • Excellent knowledge on all major social platforms
  • Social Tools such as Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Falcon etc.
  • Excellent knowledge on paid social media advertising
  • Good knowledge on tracking and tracking codes
  • Knowledge of CMS platforms, particularly Kentico EMS desirable
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Good commercial knowledge and awareness
  • Good level of interpersonal communication skills
  • Good level of presentation skills
  • Analytical
  • Competent in use of MS Office applications: Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • An understanding and use of Google Analytics
