One of the UK’s leading digital agencies, based in modern offices in Guildford, are looking for someone with strong social media experience to build creative and engaging campaigns for their clients.

Salary: £25,000 – £30,000

The Role

  • Push creativity across all social content from global to SME brands
  • Monitor social channels and respond to posts on behalf of clients
  • Identify and push new and exciting social content formats and opportunities – both planned and pro-actively
  • Monitoring and reporting on engagement, traffic and referral links as a result of content and social activity
  • Engage with social media influencers to build relationships with fans of the brand
  • Formulating paid social media campaign strategies, researching personas and targeting options, analysing competitors, and testing
  • Creating ad copy, implementing campaigns and optimising weekly to ensure all campaigns are run proficiently
  • Maintaining an in depth understanding of the digital marketplace, with particular emphasis on all new and emerging initiatives and technologies
  • Developing and documenting best practice process and methodologies for digital marketing initiatives
  • Conducting digital marketing audits and/or benchmarks

Key Skills/Experience

  • Previous experience within a social media-based role is a must
  • Experience working agency-side would be a major advantage but people with client-side backgrounds will also be considered
  • Highly digitally-savvy with a strong understanding of the latest trends in social media and digital marketing
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients
  • Excellent written skills with the ability to write in a variety of tones and styles
  • A good eye for design
  • A friendly and approachable working manner
