We are looking for someone with excellent negotiation and communication skills to join a growing company in Wimbledon as a Supply Chain Manager.

Salary: £28,000 – £30,000

The Role

  • Building and maintaining good strategic relationships with key supply partners, links with contacts at different levels
  • Evaluating the suitability and capability of possible new supply partners
  • Negotiating supply contract terms and service level agreements
  • Ensuring that significant purchases are strategically analysed negotiated prior to orders being placed
  • Establishing and maintain an approved supplier list
  • Analysing factors affecting costs, negotiate any attempted price rises, watch commodity costs
  • Identifying areas with potential for savings, research alternatives and run pricing exercises to find ways of increasing sustainable profits

Key Skills/Experience

  • Ability to organize and manage workload
  • Communication both verbal and written including report writing
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • High level of interpersonal skills including ability to be able to interact with Suppliers and agents and Reservations and Sales Manager
  • Ability to make effective and persuasive presentations
  • Proactive approach to work
  • Flexible approach to travel
  • MS Office (word, excel) essential
