Overview

We have an opportunity for an Office Administrator to join a lovely local firm providing support to a small team

Salary: £20,000 to £24,000

The Role

• assist in the production of reports, proposals and other outputs (through word, excel, indesign or JCT contracts)
• diary / calendar management
• arrange meetings and events both internally and externally
• manage booking travel, accommodation, meetings, venues etc
• liaise with clients and wider project teams both written and verbally
• take telephone calls in a professional manner and redirect calls or take messages where necessary
• provide a professional reception meet and greet service for visitors
• comply with the company’s QA procedures manual always
• some PA type duties for a Director including monitoring e-mails, calendar, upcoming meetings / conference calls
• carry out all reasonable adhoc duties as required

Sales & Marketing support
• database entry and updates
• collating and sending out company information to prospective clients
• diary and appointment management
• update website as directed with news and other items
• assist in compilation of news items / blogs / updates

The Person

• keen to deliver a better outcome
• excellent computer skills including proven experience of Microsoft Office applications
• excellent verbal, telephone and written communication skills
• a positive, professional and personable individual with a keen eye for detail / accuracy
• have an organised, reliable and flexible approach
• strong interpersonal skills demonstrating initiative, enthusiasm and drive
• ability to prioritise and deliver a changing workload
• ability to work independently and as part of a team
• previous experience in an administration role

Desirable Experience
• event management
• adobe indesign package (in-house or external training will be provided)
• CRM software / database packages (in-house training will be provided)
