Overview

We are looking for an experienced Technical Administrator to join a rapidly-growing logistics company based in beautiful offices in Leatherhead.

Salary: £30,000 – £35,000

The Role

  • Receiving technical specifications from Customers and Suppliers and confirming that specifications are acceptable
  • Arranging and conducting product testing with specialist laboratories and collating statistics of individual products or shipments to ensure compliance to specifications agreed
  • Supplier and service provider approval via quality paperwork, accreditation certificates and audits when necessary
  • Managing any Customer reports of non-conformance and responding within the required time
  • Providing in-depth information to customers about suppliers and service providers
  • Liaising and communicating with product suppliers, laboratories and warehouses to effect good working relations
  • Responsible for provision of an up to date database of customer and supplier information
  • Preparing for and maintaining BRC regulations throughout the company
  • Prepare required reports for bi monthly Senior Management Meeting and attend and present report

Key Skills/Experience

  • Previous experience in a similar role is essential
  • Experience or knowledge of the logistics industry would be a major advantage
  • Process-driven way of working with good technical mind
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with clients and suppliers
  • Outstanding organisational skills
  • Friendly and approachable working manner
