Overview
We are looking for an experienced Technical Administrator to join a rapidly-growing logistics company based in beautiful offices in Leatherhead.
Salary: £30,000 – £35,000
The Role
- Receiving technical specifications from Customers and Suppliers and confirming that specifications are acceptable
- Arranging and conducting product testing with specialist laboratories and collating statistics of individual products or shipments to ensure compliance to specifications agreed
- Supplier and service provider approval via quality paperwork, accreditation certificates and audits when necessary
- Managing any Customer reports of non-conformance and responding within the required time
- Providing in-depth information to customers about suppliers and service providers
- Liaising and communicating with product suppliers, laboratories and warehouses to effect good working relations
- Responsible for provision of an up to date database of customer and supplier information
- Preparing for and maintaining BRC regulations throughout the company
- Prepare required reports for bi monthly Senior Management Meeting and attend and present report
Key Skills/Experience
- Previous experience in a similar role is essential
- Experience or knowledge of the logistics industry would be a major advantage
- Process-driven way of working with good technical mind
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with clients and suppliers
- Outstanding organisational skills
- Friendly and approachable working manner
