The Role:

As part of the Training & Development Team to provide effective administration support to ensure statutory and core training is delivered to support the business growth and contract compliance. CITB Grant applications, Course Management, Skill matrix management and Ontrack management are key activities of this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To maintain internal training budget records, including committed expenditure and produce regular reports
  • To ensure that training records are maintained, both manual and electronic. To provide reports and data as required
  • To assist with Training Needs Analysis
  • To assist with the production of the annual CITB Training Plan
  • To assist with quarterly and ad-hoc CITB levy returns
  • To monitor learner’s progress on a variety of NVQ programmes to ensure completion within agreed timescales and adherence with the CPCS Red/Blue Card Scheme and other sector specific requirements.
  • To liaise with agreed training providers to arrange provision of training and development opportunities for specified learners
  • To maintain links and positive relationships with training providers
  • To assist with the organisation of internal training provision and induction
  • To support internal trainers in the preparation of training materials, PowerPoint presentations and printing of resource materials
  • To promote training opportunities and maximise attendance to ensure return on investment in training and development opportunities
  • To support line managers and supervisors to comply with the Learning and Development Policy
  • To issue authorisations and collate returns for the Repayment of Course Fees Policy
  • To provide an administrative service to training projects
  • To assist with marketing and promotion activity for Training activities
